Jacob meant "supplanter" for before he was born, his parents were told the younger would take the place of the older.
Later his name was changed to Israel "one who wrestled with God. A prince."

He is a person. He does not change. He does not have an origin. He is eternal. He is totally different to His creation. He is mysterious and unique.

Luke 11:1-2 Jesus taught His disciples to pray 'Hallowed be Your Name'. This means that nothing I do must bring dishonour to that name. Positively what I do should bring honor to that Name. If I call God Father then I must see to it that I am an example of what the Father has accomplished - will it cause Him to be pleased or displeased.
Jesus taught a parable after the prayer to teach us why our requests will be granted.
The midnight visitor requested 3 loaves of bread. The spoon of the meal. The host would give him as much as he needed, because he was thinking of not only his reputation, but also the name of the village to be known as generous, so he gives because of his aneideia (shamelessness) not wanting to be ashamed and bring dishonour to his family. God answers for the same reason.

To pray in Jesus Name means we identify with Him as He identifies with us.
We pray as He prays in line with the Father’s will.
If you confess Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
